Protect Yourself Against Foreclosures! In an effort to help consumers confused by recent changes in area housing markets, NARPM® has set up a website to assist individuals who are either currently renting a single-family home or are considering renting in a specific area. By logging onto www.WhyUseOne.com, consumers can find out more about local real estate laws governing rentals, as well as discover the type of protection NARPM® offers renters. A variety of marketing materials are also available to promote the site.
1. NARPM® is unrolling several new green initiatives this year! The first is our transition from a print membership directory to an online one. This e-Directory always brings you the most up-to-date membership information available.
2. The Association is also proud to be an Organization Supporter of Earth Hour! NARPM® National, along with famous landmarks such as the Las Vegas Strip and the Empire State Building, will come together to call for action on climate change by doing something quite simple—turning off our lights for one hour on March 27, 2010. Stay tuned for articles in the Residential Resource and on Facebook for the latest news on this exciting event.
Define Who We Are for 2010 NARPM® has also committed to being a 2010 Census Partner. The U.S. census is taken every 10 years to count every resident and defines who we are as a nation. As a trusted voice in the community, NARPM® members can help ensure that this vital count is as complete as possible. Members are encouraged to take the census to help ensure their community is accurately represented.
